Gerald Poss was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1965 and founded the law firm of Gerald Poss, P.A. in 1971. Mr. Poss has accumulated over 40 years of the invaluable life, litigation and general practice experience in his dealings with judges and lawyers on behalf of clients from all walks of life.  His concern and respect for people, together with his extensive knowledge of the law and past experience in analyzing and solving problems, has enabled him to achieve his clients' goals with expediency, efficiency and success.
      Mr. Poss has extensive legal experience in, and concentrates in the representation of persons injured in accidents of any kind, including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, slip and fall, and workers compensation claims; persons with family law issues, such as divorce, support and domestic violence matters; persons buying, selling, leasing and/or litigating about residential and commercial real estate; persons forming corporations, limited liability companies, and other forms of business organizations, together with litigation and resolution of business, partnership and shareholder and estate disputes; drafting wills and administering the states; representation of persons charged with motor vehicle and disorderly persons violations in Municipal Court.
      Mr. Poss has served as an assistant corporation counsel for the city of Newark; a member of the South Orange Rent Control Board, a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist, and a member of the District Ethics Committee. He is a longtime member of the Essex County and New Jersey State Bar Associations and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
      In 1982, Mr. Poss was admitted to the New York State Bar to be able to expand service to clients with interests in the state of New York.

Harvey H. Rothman was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1989 and has practiced extensively in the areas of civil and criminal litigation.  Mr. Rothman's main practice areas have been personal injury, which he has also lectured on for the National Business Institute, worker's compensation, employment discrimination and civil rights, school law, with a special interest in children with special needs, and general litigation.  Mr. Rothman is the former Howell Township Public Defender and a former pool attorney for the Monmouth County Public Defender's office.  Mr. Rothman has also been an adjunct professor of school law and policy at Monmouth University since September 2006 and is on the faculty of Fairleigh Dickenson University teaching employment law.  Mr. Rothman has represented adult criminal defendants, juveniles, and title IX defendants, as well as numerous Municipal Court defendants over the years.  Mr. Rothman has also represented individuals and entities before planning and zoning boards.  Mr. Rothman is also admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the District of Columbia and New York State.
